The First Dollar Project provides free, one-on-one financial coaching for individuals who want stability but have not always had access to clear guidance or support. Donations help train volunteer coaches, provide client-facing education tools, fund interpretation and translation services, and ensure our services remain accessible, confidential, and free.

This work is not about quick fixes or handouts. It is about helping people build skills, confidence, and choices that last. Reducing debt. Growing savings. Planning for retirement. Creating futures that feel possible.

The First Dollar Project has submitted an application for recognition as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. If approved, all donations will be retroactively tax deductible to the organization’s inception date, to the extent allowed by law.
